Hamburg, Germany - 2009-10-12 froglogic GmbH, the makers of the popular automated GUI testing tool Squish, will sponsor and exhibit at Nokia's Qt Developer Days in Munich from October 13-14 2009 and demo a technology preview of the upcoming version Squish 4.0.

Squish is a professional, cross-platform GUI and regression testing tool that supports the creation and execution of automated tests for applications built with a variety of different GUI technologies including Qt, Web, Java Swing, Java SWT/RCP, Cocoa/Carbon and many more.

Among many improvements, such as a completely revamped test development environment and new Squish editions to automate testing of more types of GUI applications, froglogic will also show off the new support for testing mixed Qt and Web applications which make use ot Qt's WebKit controls.

This new features allows to automate functional GUI tests for applications which bring the Web to the Qt GUI world. The new version of Squish recognizes all Qt controls as well as DOM controls in the embedded QWebViews allowing to create robust automated tests for such hybrid applications.
